Apple released a new security update this week which patched the activation server for some devices on the latest icloud bypass method. it seems Apple is committed to ending the icloud bypass on devices affected by checkra1n. The server update is affecting Meid/Gsm devices sim locked (new exploit). The old GSM bypass was patched in iOS14.5.1 on June 5 forcing all software to update to avoid the security update but only some developers were able to do it.
